City Of Atlanta Releases ATLStat Annual Report For Fiscal Year 2009

Today, the City of Atlanta released the ATLStat Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2009. The Annual Report summarizes the City’s operating performance in Fiscal Year 2009 based on ATLStat measures tracked through the performance management system. It highlights key performance trends across city operations and services including public safety, garbage collection, park and street maintenance, water and sewage services, permitting, airport management and sustainability.

ATLStat is the City of Atlanta’s comprehensive performance management program. It provides Mayor Shirley Franklin, her senior management team and the public with real time data regarding the performance and effectiveness of City services.

ATLStat meetings are held weekly to review the operating performance of City departments and to identify and solve service delivery issues.  Across a wide array of operations, service delivery has improved and significant operating savings have been identified as a result of this in-depth focus on day-to-day performance. Examples of these impacts are highlighted in the Annual Report.

Please visit the ATLStat website for more details and ongoing information about ATLStat. The scorecards are updated monthly. The link to the ATLStat webpage is also available through the City of Atlanta homepage www.atlantaga.gov
