The City of Atlanta passed a balanced budget in June.
Throughout the six-month budget process there were briefings and writings which acknowledged that continued extenuating circumstances could further impact the City's budget and service delivery. The administration conceded that the recession, rising costs, falling revenues and pending tax appeals could dramatically change our budget projections.
We will await the counsel and advice of the City Attorney and act accordingly.
