How do I know that my payment was credited?
After completing the payment process, a confirmation page with a corresponding confirmation number will be displayed. You are encouraged to print this page for your records.

Your personal confirmation number is very important. The confirmation number is used to track your payment. After you complete the online payment process, your confirmation number will appear on the final screen.

The City of Atlanta recognizes the date printed on the confirmation page as the date of payment. However, your bill payments should be made on or before the bill’s due date to avoid late fees and/or additional consequences.

When will the Department of Watershed Management be able to see that my bill has been paid?
It takes approximately two business days for the Department of Watershed’s records to be updated to show activity on your account.

Does the Payment History window show all payments made on the account?
The Payment History window will show only payments that have been made online. If you paid February and March online and mailed your April payment, only the February and March payment will display. For questions about your April payment, you will need to call Department of Watershed Customer Service at 404.658.6500

I have enrolled and no bills are displaying.  Why don't my bills show up?
It is important that you verify that you have enrolled with your correct account number. Your account number consists of eight digits, which must be typed without dashes or other marks. If your account number does not match the number on your bill, the system will find no bills to display. If you have enrolled with an incorrect account number, please enroll again with the correct number and login again. If you are still experiencing difficulty, please call 404.658.6500 or click on watershedhelp@atlwater.com

I enrolled last month and successfully paid my bill, but this month when I try to login the system is telling me I have to enroll.
Please verify your username and password to log in. If you are using the correct username and password and you are still unable to log in, please contact us at 404.658.6500 or click on watershedhelp@atlwater.com.

I have forgotten my password? How can I find out what it is?
At the bottom of the page you will find a link that says forgot your password?  When you click the link, you will be asked for your account number (remember to enter your eight-digit account number) and the email address that you used when you enrolled. The system administrator will email the password to the email account listed when you enrolled.

I just paid my bill.  Why does it not show a $0 balance?
What you are seeing is just a picture of your bill as it was sent to you. The system does not update the account database at the time you make the payment. To find out the current balance on your account, please call 404.658.6500 or click on watershedhelp@atlwater.com.

If I fail to pay my bill on time and receive a notice of service termination, can I still pay the bill online?
Yes, but you must immediately call Customer Service at 404.658.6500 with your confirmation number.

What if I pay the bill and then receive a notice of service termination?
Call the Department’s Customer Service number, 404.658.6500, and give the representative your confirmation number.
